Introducing BigTools: A New Suite of Store Management Utilities

BigTools is a collection of utilities built to give merchants a faster, more efficient way to manage store content and product data. Developed by BigCommerce, the app provides a simple browser-based interface for high-volume updates without relying on custom scripts or manual API work. By connecting directly to BigCommerce APIs, BigTools brings powerful bulk-management tools together in one place, making it easier to maintain store data.

Currently in beta, BigTools may continue to evolve as we introduce new features and refine existing tools throughout development.

Built for efficiency

BigTools brings multiple data-management utilities together in one place, helping merchants work more efficiently across key areas of their store. The app includes tools for managing brands, categories, store logs, gift certificates, web pages, newsletter subscribers, Stencil template files, orders, and webhooks.

Each tool is built to simplify routine updates and maintain accurate, consistent data across your storefront.

Extended import & export capabilities

BigTools enhances native control panel functionality by providing key bulk import and export options. With these tools merchants can:

• search, filter, and sort existing records in customizable tables.

• export all records of a given type.

• preview data before import (for supported record types).

• import updates using CSV files.

This enables rapid creation, cleanup, or restructuring of store data without the need for manual API calls.

Centralized Webhook Management

For stores that rely on timely, accurate event data, BigTools makes it easy to create and manage webhooks. The Webhook Manager brings all webhook activity into one place, giving merchants a clear view of which services receive updates when key events are triggered in their store.

Easily review active webhooks, adjust their settings, or remove outdated connections without needing to work directly with API tools.
